First Time Homebuyer Marketing Campaign

I'm using this opportunity to create a brand new marketing strategy and incorporate the popularity of the QR codes. .
One thing I know is that there is a big marketing opportunity for this new type of information sharing technology.
I quickly understood that it did not make any sense in having a QR code in my own websites or blogs. .this is mobile technology and any information directly related to a QR code source must work flawlessly in a mobile smart phones, iPad's etc.
The obvious use to QR codes is simple and direct.
A great place is in flyers or signs outside our listings.
In some cases I even thought about putting a magnetic sign to my car with a huge QR code. . ....but the response to that was very limited.
I needed more out of it
and after doing some consulting and testing I found a way to use the QR code in a SET I AND FORGET type of SYSTEM that could give me leads and more leads. . .
My initial study was a success . . .I had 9 hits in one day!!!
That may not be a lot to many of you but. . .it told me that I was on the right track. .
My ultimate purpose if to multiply those nine hits by TEN!
So, let's explore and find out what's the QR Code campaign is about. .

Collected, organized, and study down data about the current use of QR code from other Real Estate Companies.

The questioned remained . . . where can it be the most efficient?
Competition was sporadic and really nonexistent. .a great time to strengthen my positioning.

What I want as a final result:
- Who I'm selling to?
- What I'm selling?
- Why someone will consider our services directly from this campaign? -
To create the WOW QR Code Campaign, I needed to go to an area where most people had a smart phone, were technology savvy and they could become potentially buyers of real estate . . .my real estate . .the kind I sell
Answer: College students! that are ripe in becoming first tome home buyers. . yes! They will have the money and are most likely supported by a parent that would prefer them to become homeowners and not renters. .considering the easy low rate financing available right now for young professionals..
It's so easy to convince someone into buying when they see the comparison between renting and how low mortgage payments can be!
Direct Steps to the QR Code Marketing strategy for full consideration:
- Go where your market is, popular places prospects hang out. . restaurants, night clubs, concerts
- Direct approach. . a simple WOW signage to stir up curiosity.
- Write a compelling call to action . . very key point!
- Direct them automatically to a drip campaign once they raise their hand. .
- Automatic listing feed directly to their mailbox

We use a free site that HOSTS mobile sites for our content letter to action A QR Code should always point to a mobile site!
We use a sheet of Avery 5160 labels to print the QR codes
Clear shipping tape to cover over the shipping label materials and make it weather-proof!
And determine strategic locations where to display them.

A more hip and young oriented restaurant I could not find.. .specially one located near a university
This is what McDonald's , Burger King feared the most. . Healthy food, fresh bread and a cool glass of green tea!
And the best news . . . they have a community board to display my QR CODE!!!!!
But I actually tested by affixing one inside the man's bathroom. .2 weeks later, it was still there!
I imagine the cleaning crew does not have a clue what a QR code is. . and they just think is a bar code for the manager!. . Obviously, I'm not advocating you put these things like graffiti everywhere. . this was just a test for me and I discovered some interesting facts. (Perhaps, I should hit Starbucks next?) hmmm. . .
Easy to see . . . curiosity is really a great grab!
I love Panera Bread. Every time I go there for lunch I see dozens of people using the free WI-FI and just simply hanging out around the restaurant!
Young hip crowd, all of them have smart phones and I can assure you that most of them know what a QR CODE IS!
They don't need my instructions!
I can't actually give you my actual QR code and display my copy that compels these students to want more from me. .(my local competition would love to have that, I can assure you)
But I can give some highlights!
Stories sell. . It's all about a person that found a condo nearby for hundreds of dollars LESS than what the local rents are! (I use actual study case)
This student accidentally stumbled upon this and soon discovers it was much better being a homeowner than a renter!
